Our Mission

Save Beerwah Co-op is dedicated to preserving our vital local business, established in 1936 and turning 90 years in 2026.

QRail & TMR want to resume our site for the "Wave" Rail project and upgrade t Beerwah Train Station. Their plan.......demolish our site and build a multi-story carpark!

We employ more than 50 locals and serve 30,000 customers every month, that's a whopping 360,000 customers a year!

We believe that a carpark is not worth the loss of over 50 jobs and massive disruption to the community through the loss of a one-stop major business like the Co-op.

We are one of the largest employers in the area and many of the products and services we provide are not available anywhere else in town or in the near vicinity of the Glasshouse region.

We have been truly overwhelmed by the support within the community. It's clear that we're all in this together and we have SO MANY questions with the resounding message coming through "have all options been explored and is this truly the best option for ALL parties?"

Will the loss of the Co-op and the Shell servo and all that encompasses been factored in to the proposal? What will this mean for Beerwah and the surrounding region as we know it?

Your support means the world to us as we navigate this challenging time with our entire business site being resumed for the proposed rail network expansion.

Together, we can work toward a solution that benefits both our community and the future of public transport in our region.
